Dr.ir. L. (Lieuwe) Zigterman is an expert in organising and managing the contents of (research) projects in the area of development of intrastructure, where the key is found in the interaction between infrastructure, rolling stock and operations.
Mostly it concerns studies about "better utilisation" of infrastructure: The limits of railway capacitiy can be shifted.
